• Kick off your weekend at the Glass House Winery with live music from Billy Brockman. Glass House Winery located in Free Union welcomes you to bring your picnic or enjoy chocolate, cheeses , crackers and small snacks from the tasting room. The event will be held between 6 and 9 pm. Regular tasting fees will apply.
• If you love blackberries you are in luck, blackberry season has begun at Hill Top Berry Farm & Winery. From 9 am to 5 pm over the weekend you can pick your own blackberries whilst spending some time out on the farm. There are no thorns on these blackberry bushes which is good news for all. Blackberries will be priced by the quart and you can find the farm on Berry Hill Road in Nellysford.
• Saunders Brothers Farm Market in Piney River will have antique farm equipment on display this weekend as well as a chance to peruse through their farm market. There will be live music by Alex Adams and plenty to look at. The market is open from 9 am to 5 pm and can be found on Tye Brook Highway in Piney River.
• FleaVille will be held this Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm in the Charlottesville VA downtown area. These outdoor markets show off the best of the areas creative geniuses. There will be plenty of handcrafted items and vintage goods. This is a great place to spend some time shopping, eating and checking out the local arts scene.
