The Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Museum is currently showing their Art and Country exhibit. This exhibit includes over thirty works on different mediums including eucalyptus bark. You can explore the different ways that the Aboriginal artists show the love for their country through this art collection. The museum is open Saturday from 10am – 4pm and Sunday from 1pm – 5pm. Admission is free.
If you are looking to try some local produce or you need a special gift, the City Market is the place to visit. Local Vendors will be on hand to talk to you about how their goods are produced. The market is open from 7am – 12 noon and is held in the Downtown Mall Area off Water Street.
If you love fresh strawberries or you would just love to get out in the fresh air for a couple of hours, Seaman’s Orchard will be open for pick your own strawberries this Saturday May 16th. The orchard will be open from 12:30pm to 5pm and is located in Roseland. The orchard offers great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and gives you the chance to head out to the fields and pick your own strawberries.
