Weekend Events for July 22-24
- Head out to Mineral for the Mineral Bluegrass Festival w at Walton Park in Mineral. The Bluegrass Festival will be happening all weekend starting Friday night. Bring a lawn chair, blanket or even a tent for some rough camping.
- If you are looking for some baseball action this weekend without spending a whole lot of money, you are in luck. The Charlottesville Tom Sox will be playing the Winchester Royals this Friday night and you can get in for just $2. The game starts at 7 pm.
- Dickie Brothers Orchard in Roseland will be open for blackberry picking this weekend. Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, guests are welcome to head out into the orchards to pick blueberries. There is no peach picking available this season.
- This Sunday at noon at the Sprint Pavilion, Charlottesville Municipal Band Family Pops Concert will take place. There will be family fun and music. The band will be playing songs from popular movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and Despicable me 2. This family fun event is free!
