There is a lot going on in Charlottesville VA this weekend. Here are four things you will want to try and squeeze into your busy social calendar.
- The Jefferson Theater will be hosting Kap Slap also known as Jared Lucas. Kap Slap is a 24-year-old DJ and Producer and produces mashups that sit well with the college scene. The concert will cost $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the show.
- The Southern Living Ideas House in North Garden is the perfect place if you love to look inside beautiful homes or you are looking for new ideas. The home was designed by Rosney Co. Architects and is set in Bundoran Farm. Admission is $12 and all children under 12 are free. The home will be open on October 2 from 10 am to 4 pm or October 3 from 12 pm to 4 pm.
- Blue Mountain Brewery will be holding their annual Octoberfest celebrations starting this Saturday and Sunday. The brewery located in Afton will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 9 pm. You can enjoy tasting some different brews including some special releases as well as join in on games throughout the day. The brewery will also hold brewery tours and offer live music performances.
- This Saturday, October 3 the 5th Annual Central Virginia Star Party will be held at Albermarle CiderWorks. Beginning at 6 pm there will be activities including stargazing via telescopes, night sky tours, planetarium shows, star themed activities and plenty of cider to go around. Local food trucks will be on-site to keep your tummy full. The event is perfect for all ages and is free.
