- Pack up the family and head out to Critzer Family Farm in Afton for some down on the farm fun. Pick Your Own Strawberries and Cherries runs from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. You can pick your own strawberries or cherries, or purchases some flowers, plants and fresh vegetables. Homemade Ice Cream is also available at the farm.
- If you would like to learn more about Charlottesville VA history then Court Square Walking Tours are a must. Saturday tours leave at 10am while Sunday tours leave at 2pm. You get to join the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society for a walk around Court Square, learning all about Charlottesville’s history. Tours begin at the Historical Society at 200 Second Street.
- Join your neighbors for a fun morning out at the City Market this Saturday June,13. There will be plenty of fresh food on offer from local growers in addition to meats, crafts, baked good and other fun items. With over 100 vendors, you are sure to find something you love. The market opens at 7am and is located at Water Street. Vendors begin to pack up around noon.
- Blue Mountain Barrel House will be holding Friday Cheers with live music outside from 6pm to 8pm. You can bring your own chair, take in the views, and enjoy a bite to eat from the food truck. This Friday June,12, Jason Burke and Bill Staton will be playing. You can also grab beer-to-go to enjoy for the rest of the weekend.
