  • It’s that time of year when apples are in abundance and there is nothing more fun than heading out to an orchard to pick your own. Dickie Brothers Orchards will be offering pick your own apples from September 6. You can choose from a bunch of different varieties. Cider, apple butter, jam, and sweet potatoes, will also be available.
  • Eats & Beats at Keswick Vineyards will take place this Saturday from noon to 3 pm. Taste some of Virginias best wines and enjoy some local food from one of the area’s food trucks. The event offers free entry and an opportunity to relax and enjoy the great atmosphere.
  • Wild Wolf Brewing Company in Nellysford will be hosting an Antique Car Cruise-In on Sunday, September 6. From 6 pm to 8 pm you can meet the owners and get under the bonnet of some of the areas best antique cars. There will be plenty of beer on tap and food will be available. This is a great event for the whole family.
  • A community breakfast will be held on September 5 at the Rockfish Valley Community Center. Anyone is welcome for a delicious breakfast of pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, and coffee. Breakfast runs for 2 hours starting at 8:30 am.
