The last weekend of January is set to be a good one in Charlottesville VA, here are just a few of the many events happening around town this weekend.
Charlottesville Weekend Events
- Starr Hill Brewery will be holding Cheers for Charity in the Starr Hill Tap Room. This will be the kick-off of their month-long charity program where they will donate $1 for every pint sold in the tap room. The brewery is open Friday from 12 pm – 8 pm, Saturdays 11 am – 8 pm and Sundays 12 pm – 6 pm.
- Wild Wolf Brewing Company will have live music this Friday night from 7 pm to 10 pm, with the band Slym Pykins playing. Enjoy some good food, some good brews and great music.
- You can enjoy the best of Charlottesville when it comes to dining out. Restaurant week will extend through this weekend with different restaurants throughout town offering three-course meals at three price points. The price points will be $19, $29 and $39 depending on which restaurant you choose. This is a great way to experience some of those restaurants that you have been wanting to try for ages.
- The ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute – Who’s Bad will be playing at the Jefferson Theater on January 29. Doors will open at 7 pm. This show includes a Michael Jackson tribute band that has had the longest running success and has sold out in 50 venues across the UK. Admission is $15 in advance or $17 the day of the show.
