All veterans can enjoy a free traditional Thanksgiving feast and spend a few hours with veterans in the local community. The VFW hall is at 1170 River Road in Charlottesville and the meal will take place from noon to 2 pm.
- Bold Rock Cider will be holding a Be Thankful 5k on Friday 27 of November. The 5k will start at 9am, leashed pets can join in and there will be trophies and medals awarded for different categories including best costume. The 5k course will run on the Rockfish Valley Trail System and proceeds will benefit the Nelson County Community Fund.
